Xiaomi August 2024 Update Also Rolling Out to Redmi Devices
According to Google’s statements, the update fixes 50 vulnerabilities, 15 of which are marked as high priority. This means that if you’ve received the update on your Xiaomi or any other brand’s device, it’s recommended to update immediately. Xiaomi has started by releasing the update to four models, but it will be rolled out to more devices by the end of the month.
As the world’s third-largest smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi first released the new update for the MIX Fold 4 model with the software version OS1.0.9.0.UNVCNXM. As with all companies, Xiaomi’s updates are released regionally. So, if your phone hasn’t received the update yet, it should arrive soon.
On the other hand, the company decided to release the update to Redmi devices as well, sending the Xiaomi August 2024 update to the Redmi K50 Ultra, Redmi Pad, and Redmi Note 11 with the software versions OS1.0.7.0.ULFCNXM, OS1.0.4.0.ULYMIXM, and OS1.0.7.0.TGCMIXM, respectively.
